Central Tableland Swimming - CTS

The local swimming District is known as Central Tablelands Swimming (CTS). All members of each swimming club are encouraged to attend the district swimming carnivals. Glenbrook Swimming Club encourages all its members to attand and compete and contribute to the wonderful team spirit that Glenbrook shows at CTS swimming meets.

 

This summer season there are two (2) Championship Carnivals and one (1) Restricted age/Sprint Carnival. Refer to our calander of events for details. CTS will also be holding an Invitation carnival where district swimmers can compete in Long Distance events which contribute towards CTS points.

BROPHY

Brophy is an annual sprint event held in Canberra. CTS selects swimmers from within the district to swim as a representatives and it is regarded an honour to be selected. To have a chance of selection swimmers must attend CTS meets in that season and selection will be based on best times. For further information please see your Club Race Secretaries.

TIMED RELAY

A Timed Relay is swum as a Handicap swim with 2 swimmers with a combined time. You are allowed to swim up to 4 seconds faster than your combined submitted time.
