Recently a team of 13 swimmers from Glenbrook Swimming Club competed at the 2008 NSW Country Short Course Championships at Homebush with 4 of our swimmers competing as a Glenbrook Representative swimmer for the first time. There were certainly some great achievements from our swimmers especially with Sally Lemon obtaining 5 PB’s from 5 swims but the best of all was Christine Kidd obtaining the 50m Butterfly QT for the Telstra Australian Short Course Swimming Championships to be held in Melbourne later in September. Congratulations to all swimmers and their coach and keep up the good swimming.
