COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS

A team of 14 swimmers represented the Club at the NSW Country Championships on the weekend.  The future of Glenbrook  swimming looks promising indeed with some fantastic results and many PB’s.  The highlight of the weekend being 12 year old Maya Suzuki who came 3rd in the 100m Free with a National Qualifying time of 1:02.71.  The team of 14 competitors had 44 swims between them with some picked to represent the CTS district in relays.

The club was successful with one medallist, five finalists, 6 ‘Top 20’ and  24 PBs.

Cherise Terry – 13yrs 100m Free – 1:07.68 PB.

 

Christine Kidd, Maya Suzuki, James Pike, Brycen Daniels and  Brenden Purcell  were selected to swim in the District Medley Relay Teams.

Special mention to Chelsea Barton, Roy Atherton and Cherise Terry who qualified to swim for the first time and all swam personal best times.
